The Firm
Founded in 2003 by two lawyers who believed the best advice is rarely the loudest, Avenida & Reyes has remained deliberately small: eleven lawyers, three partners, one office above Julia Vargas Avenue. We act for listed companies and the families behind them, for funds entering the Philippines and founders leaving on their own terms, for clients in courtrooms they never wished to enter and boardrooms they built themselves.
The firm takes fewer engagements than it is offered. What it accepts, it staffs with partners — not associates learning at a client’s expense. Our practice is built on long relationships, written advice that survives scrutiny, and a standing instruction to every lawyer in the firm: tell the client what is true, then what is wise.
